Sitting on my own

I have mastered the balance thing and can sit on my own. It is nice to be looking down at all my toys and see which one I want to play with. The only problem is I am not sure how to get back on the ground.

OUCH!!! My 1st tooth

It is official...I have teeth! I have been gnawing on anything I can get into my mouth to help this process. Mom and dad took turns last night trying to make me feel comfortable. Mom confirmed this morning that my tooth had arrived. I have a 2nd one coming soon. Can you see them?

BTW... I can just about sit up all by myself too

A day at the beach

Finally, my 1st day on the beach! Mom and dad have taken me to the beach before, but I never made it on to the sand. Grandma and Grandpa along with my cousin Jessica met us there for a play date. Grandma took me down to the water... I can't wait to play in the ocean like Jessica.

My first Masterpiece

At school today, I got to finger paint for the first time. As you can see, I used an assortment of colors and made some deliberate brush strokes. The teachers were impressed with my finger technique since most of the other kids only dabbed their fingers on the canvas. I loved the feeling of the paint on my fingers.

5 Months and life is good

Life is truly good. I am eating cereal now so I am able to join the family for dinner meals. I have also learned to roll back over from my tummy so I am getting very mobile. And I am sleeping in my very own room.
